Our OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production process for sweaters can be broken down into several key steps. Here’s an overview of the process:
Design and planning:
The client (brand or retailer) provides the us with the sweater design, specifications, and materials required. This includes information about the desired style, color, size, pattern, and any other details. We will then plan the production process based on these requirements. Meantime, we provide samples with corrected details for approval as sealed PP sample.
Sourcing materials:
We sources the necessary raw materials, such as yarns, fibers, and dyes, to produce the sweater according to the client’s specifications. This may involve working with multiple suppliers to ensure the quality and availability of the materials.
Knitting:
Once the materials are sourced, the knitting process begins. This can be done using manual knitting machines or computerized knitting machines, depending on the complexity of the design and the production volume required. The knitting process transforms the yarn into the desired fabric, creating the body, sleeves, and other parts of the sweater.
Linking:
After knitting, the sweater’s individual pieces are linked together. This is a crucial step in the production process, as it ensures the sweater has a clean, finished appearance. Linking can be done by hand or using specialized linking machines.
Finishing:
The finishing process involves several steps, such as washing, drying, and pressing the sweater to remove any dirt, oil, or residue from production. This step also helps to set the shape, size, and desired softness of the final product.
Quality control:
Before packaging, the sweaters undergo a quality control inspection to ensure they meet the client’s requirements. This may include checking for consistency in size, color, and pattern, as well as ensuring there are no defects, such as loose threads or holes.
Packaging and shipment:
Once the sweaters pass the quality control inspection, they are packaged according to the client’s requirements, labeled with the client’s brand, and prepared for shipment to the client or distribution centers.
The OEM production process allows brands and retailers to work closely with manufacturers to create high-quality, customized sweaters that meet their specific design and quality requirements.
